The 10th of May will see the gaming world transformed into something we have never seen before. On the 10th of May, E3 begins - the biggest gaming show on Earth. I'm guessing you know what it is, but in case you don't, I'll give you a brief guide.
E3 is a massive gaming show which takes place every year in Los Angeles, USA. It is a media only event, which showcases every gaming companies projects for the coming year.
As it is a media only event, I can't go :(, but I doubt I'd get to the USA anyway! Anyway, every year Nintendo has a massive stand which makes all the other companies look pathetic. This year, it covers nearly half of the floor it is on! Last year, Nintendo unveiled the Revolution and Zelda; Twighlight Princess. This year looks set to beat it. The renamed Revolution, the Nintendo Wii, will be unveiled in full this year! Technical specifications, and rough price, and hopefully, a release date. The Nintendo DS Lite will also be shown in full, including the specifications, and a release date/price. Zelda: Twighlight Princess is hoped to be shown, and hopefully they will announce when it will be released!!! The new Zelda game for DS, Phantom Hourglass is also hoped to be shown in a bit more detail, which looks to be a great game. The NEW Super Mario Bros game will also be shown, along with LOADS of other new games and other innovations from Nintendo! Don't forget to look out for the new Wii games, Metroid Prime 3 and maybe even Super Smash Bros Wii!
This site is the only place you need to visit to get the complete lowdown on Nintendo's show this year! I will NOT be copying things off the NoE site, but instead I will be reading them, and then giving you my opinion on this years show. This years review of E3 will be miles better than last years, so make sure you watch out for it!
BUT, you haven't got to wait until the 10th of May to find out what Nintendo's planning this year. On the 9th of May, Nintendo will be having a preview of this year, when it shows everything to the media. This is when the details about the Wii will be shown, and new game trailers will appear, so make sure you visit on May the 9th to find out what you can expect this year, and then on the 10th to find out what I think of the new games!
I can't wait, I hope you can't either!!!
